PHWIN

Cross-operating system interface transmission without limits. 

PHWIN is the possibility of accessing the user interface of the Kieback&Peter building automation system from any MS-Windows operating system. This means that the GLT central unit can be operated without restriction from any MS-Windows PC via a network or modem connection. 

This is possible thanks to the client-server concept of the Kieback&Peter GLT central units. The client is simply outsourced from the GLT central unit to another PC and/or operating system. The name of the client for MS-Windows 2000/XP/7 is PHWIN. 

PHWIN is a so called thin-client . This small 140 kByte program enables the user interface of the GLT central unit to be displayed on other operating systems. The program can be installed easily on any MS-Windows operating system without affecting already installed programs or software configurations. 

Whether via the network, modem or Internet/intranet, the compressed transmission of data means that the user interface of the GLT is directly available without time-lag. 

With PHWIN any MS-Windows PC can be turned into a GLT operator station.
