Kieback&Peter products support energy efficient Green Buildings. Therefore Kieback&Peter now is also actively supporting LEED and the USGBC.
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is an internationally recognized system for classification of Green Buildings. It was founded by the USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council) and is constantly evolving. Kieback&Peter has been a member of the USGBC since August 2010 - as one of the first building automation companies from Germany.
LEED certifies Green Buildings according to transparent criteria. The certification is accompanied by the USGBC. Building automation has a significant influence on the energy efficiency of a building. For LEED it contributes significantly to obtaining a Green Building certificate.
In the future, building automation will continue to gain importance in Green Buildings. It develops high saving potentials – especially for heat and electricity consumption.
