Kieback&Peter has received AMEV Certificate for its DDC4000 automation stations for BACnet devices.
With the newly published BACnet-2011 directive of the AMEV (German study group of public and municipal administration for machines and electrical facilities), a separate AMEV certificate for BACnet devices is required. This certificate was developed by AMEV in collaboration with BIG-EU and WSPLab to simplify the use of BACnet.
Kieback&Peter was one of the first manufacturers to receive this certificate from the WSP-testing laboratory in Stuttgart for its DDC4000 automation stations.
The AMEV certification identifies the BACnet device, the tested release status and key performance features. The supported AMEV profile is checked off. An independent testing laboratory certifies that the BACnet functions of the specified AMEV profile have been successfully tested according to DIN EN ISO 16484-5.
