The MD15-FTL small actuator relies entirely on wireless communication and supports the open EnOcean wireless standard. It is a variant of the proven MD15 small actuator.
The MD15-FTL combines a motorized actuator, controller, and transducer in one device. This opens up a range of applications, from actuator in complex automation systems to a simple, autonomous room controller. The MD15-FTL is thus multifunctionally applicable as a thermostat that constantly keeps a fixed or preset temperature as the set-point temperature.
The MD15-FTL small actuator communicates wirelessly according to the open, manufacturer-neutral EnOcean actuator profile for small actuators. It uses the new EnOcean processor generation (Dolphin), which enables bi-directional communication. The wireless data exchange saves having to do any wiring.
The wireless MD15-FTL small actuator draws its energy from powerful, long-lasting batteries. Energy-saving technologies and a sophisticated mechanism allows for very low energy consumption and high efficiency.
In addition, the MD15-FTL takes on all the important characteristics of the MD15 platform: easy and safe installation, high control accuracy, flexibility, reliable and robust operating performance, intelligent software functions and quiet operation.
With its conceptual design the MD15-FTL fulfills all the prerequisites for energy-efficient room temperature control.
